Introduction

 Hey i'm Lily and I study Media, English and Theatre at Hurtwood. I am from Guildford and I'm sixteen years old. I have always had a passion for film and music, both behind the scenes and infant of the camera.  

My favourite films are Shaw Shank Redemption directed by Frank Darabont; as I thought it was and emotional yet uplifting story. I like to see the characters emotional journey and I also thought it was interesting to see what life was life in prison for them. Another film I like is Now You See Me directed by Louis leterrier due to the exciting mystery which gets you engaged. Its a film that is the most exciting when you watch it first as you also work out the mystery and you always seem to get the ending wrong!

I also love writing my own plays, in year 8 I wrote my first play and I've continued to write a range of long and short plays. I would love to start writing a film script  in the near future and learning about different films in media definitely will help me write a well planned film. 

Im so excited to start media at Hurtwood as I have always known I want to do acting as a job but I haven't had the opportunities to learn how to film make and direct. I might find out that I love it so much I want to pursue it as a career! I cant't wait to plan the opening title sequence and the music video in A2!
